Welcome to Mrs. Lumsden's Second Grade Class!

It is with great joy and honor to be your child's teacher this year. My name is Mrs. Rechiel S. Lumsden. This will be my 7th year of teaching at an Elementary Level. This is my 4th year at Henry County Schools and my 1st year at Luella Elem.

I have been married to my husband, Don, for 17 years now . We have been blessed with two children, Nathan (16 yrs old) and Nicoleen (14 yrs old). We have a dog name Sugar (half beagle/half chihuahua). We love to travel, explore and experience the wondrous creations of God.

It is going to be an exciting year as we work together to achieve your child's success. I want them to be excited about going to school to gain knowledge and build skills. Let's work together and be partners in achieving these goals. You can help by reading with your child nightly, discussing their daily school activities and by assisting them with their homework. Your involvement and support are crucial to your child's success, and I am committed to fostering a strong partnership with you throughout the year. Together we can create a positive and enriching experience for your child.
