Mrs. Sarah Hinton

My name is Sarah Hinton and I am the full-time counselor at Luella Elementary. Before coming to Luella Elementary, I worked for two years at Union Grove High School and I even graduated from Union Grove. I also completed my internship at Henry County Schools.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2017 and my Master’s in School Counseling from Mercer University in 2020. 

I am happily married and we have four wonderful fur-babies and we just welcomed our daughter in June 2023. In my spare time, I enjoy making crafts, watching tv and going on adventures with my family. I was born and raised in Henry County, Georgia. I look forward to working with the students at Luella Elementary again this year.  I am here to support the students with academic growth, social/emotional development, and career goals. I hope we can make this the best year yet.
