I received a B.S. in Early Childhood education from the University of West Georgia. I also have a gifted endorsement.  I have been teaching in Henry County since 2003. Prior to that I taught in private school  This is my second year at Timber Ridge Elementary and I am excited to be teaching 4th grade Math and Science! On a personal note,  I have three daughters:  Olivia, Mikaela, and Sarah. I have seven grandchildren.  Their names are Hunter, Rowan, Lochlan, Arbor, and Aksel, Winter, and Fallon. We are huge Scooby Doo and Harry Potter fans.  I have taught Rec Soccer, dance, and Taekwondo.  My daughters Sarah, Mikaela and I are black belts.    I love to read and hope to instill that in all of my students.  A goal that I have for my students is to be persistant as they learn new things this year.  What we can't do today, we may be able to do tomorrow.  After all, a blackbelt is a whitebelt that never quit.
