Welcome to my web page! My name is DeAnte Walker, and I'm very excited about teaching 5th Grade at Timber Ridge Elementary. My teaching career began in Griffin-Spalding County in 2012, and I taught in Clayton County Public Schools for 3 years. I am from Colquitt, GA, a small town in the southwestern region of the state. Go Miller County Pirates! My family and I relocated to the metro Atlanta area in 2003. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Clayton State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Mercer University. This year, we are going to be engaged in many hands-on, creative, fun-filled activities throughout the year. So, students get ready to enjoy a year of learning and excitement in ELA and Science!
