Dr. Lisa Wright, School Librarian
Welcome to the HHS Learning Commons!
Greetings, I am Dr. Lisa Wright, and the 2024-2025 school year marks my 11th year as a proud Hampton Hornet and 27th year in education. I am married to Sandy Springs native Rick Wright, also a high school librarian, and we share two teenage sons who keep us busy with Varsity and Academy soccer practices and games. I wear many hats at HHS, including Advanced Learning Chair / Gifted Coordinator, HEART Lead New Teacher Mentor, Online Learning Facilitator, Graduation Coordinator, and Prom Coordinator. In addition, I serve as an adjunct social studies teacher for Henry County Online Academy (HCOA) where I presently teach Psychology and Sociology, and I also serve as an adjunct instructor for the University of West Georgia's College of Education, where I presently teach two sections per semester of library science graduate students. I earned my doctorate from Kennesaw State and proudly share my refereed research in Vol. 27 of School Library Research: https://www.ala.org/sites/default/files/2024-09/wright-et-al.pdf
Please reach out anytime with questions; along with our HHS Library Media Para-Professional, Ms. Clara Redmond, we look forward to working with you!
