A little bit about me...

I started teaching at Smith-Barnes midway through the 2018-19 school year, when I joined the 4th/5th grade Gifted Team as their new social studies/science teacher.  However, I've taught for many years prior to joining SBE:  I taught in private schools, home-school academies, Montessori schools, and I even taught snow skiing for Vail Resorts in Park City, Utah.  I enjoyed teaching my own three daughters the joys of snowskiing, wildlife rescue, painting, and instrumental music (I play both drums and keyboards).  I especially love teaching science, and my class is famous for doing all kinds of experiments and projects!
