Mr. Quinton L. Ward Sr., Principal

My name is Quinton L. Ward Sr., and I am elated to serve as the principal of Hampton High School. A proud Army veteran, I am committed to teamwork and have served in a variety of capacities as an educator in the state of Georgia with 27 years of experience in the public-school setting.

I began my career as an energetic, middle school algebra teacher, quickly developing a passion to see students succeed. Additionally, I have served as a middle and high school administrator with experience on both levels as a master scheduler, testing coordinator, and professional learning facilitator. I have also served as the administrator of attendance, discipline, and parent/school engagement facilitator. I have enjoyed working with parents, teachers, and students for the specific purpose of ensuring that all our scholars enjoy success.

As a native Atlantan I am familiar with education not only from the perspective of an administrator, but also as a parent. I am happily married and the father of six children. My higher education commenced at Georgia State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Childhood Education. Subsequently, I completed graduate level work in the area of Educational Leadership and Supervision at Argosy University. My sleeves are rolled up, and I am excited about meeting each member of the Hampton High School family.
