Ms. Kristen Bibb, Assistant Principal
Kristen Bibb is a dedicated, determined, and driven educator with a passion for helping students reach their maximum potential. Her devotion to creating opportunities for student achievement was cultivated in Cincinnati, OH, her hometown. Her parents and family were extremely influential in her upbringing, ensuring that the core values of education, supporting community, and participation in civic engagement were always front and center. Their belief is that the foundation for success is embedded in those core values.
In 2007, Ms. Bibb traded buckeyes for peaches as she relocated to Atlanta, GA. Having worked in education for nearly 19 years, she has served in numerous capacities such as Lead Teacher of Special Education, Intervention Specialist, Multi-Tiered Student Support Specialist, assistant testing coordinator, professional learning facilitator, Teacher Alternative Preparation Program (TAPP) mentor, senior class and graduation sponsor, Student Government Association sponsor, and school activities coordinator. In addition to her work outside the classroom, she has taught Reading, Mathematics, Science and Economics at both the middle school and high school level. Ms. Bibb received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Ohio State University, Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, and Master of Education from Liberty University in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Bibb considers herself a "foodie" as she loves to try new restaurants. She also loves traveling, attending sporting events, spending time with her family and being an aunt, a.k.a. (Tee Tee) to her nieces and nephews.
Most of all, Ms. Bibb believes that success happens when opportunity meets preparation, and education is the key to both! Ms. Bibb is extremely proud to be a part of the greatest high school in Georgia, Hampton High School! Go Hornets!
