Head Football Coach Chad Ashley

Coach Ashley is a native of Savannah, GA, and with the 2024-2025 school year marks his eleventh season as the Hampton High Head Football Coach. Ashley holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a master's degree in Exercise Science. Ashley began his career at Windsor Forest High School in Savannah. He then continued his career in NC, serving as an assistant coach at North Brunswick High School and New Hanover High School. He then accepted the Head Coach position at White Oak High School in Jacksonville, NC. There, he rebuilt the football program with a focus on student-athlete accountability, strength and conditioning, and fundamental football. Ashley's two seasons at White Oak, 2012-2014, resulted in tremendous gains in the team's level of competitiveness, and a marked difference in the overall performance.
