Meet the Principal
-
Dear Birch Creek Students, Parents, and Community Members:
With great humility and excitement, I write to introduce myself as the inaugural principal of Birch Creek Elementary School. I genuinely believe in the “it takes a village” approach when supporting students. I look forward to working with you all in starting new traditions and establishing a culture of collaboration in creating the best learning environment for all students.
With nearly 15 years in education, I have leadership experience as grade level chair, department chair, mentor, teacher, coach, athletic director, and assistant principal. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University, Masters of Science Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, and Education Specialist degree in Leadership from Thomas University. I am a native of Hampton, Georgia, and a proud product of the Henry County Schools system. My wife Courtney and I have two children, Kylan (6) and Kyndal (3).
I am passionate about education and ensuring that each student has what they need to realize their potential. My commitment to fostering an exceptional environment for our students always remains strong. Instructional engagement and community involvement are top priorities for me, and I look forward to partnering with each of you to build strong positive relationships and achieve high standards of excellence for our students. Together, we can create a foundation for Birch Creek Elementary that equips our students with skills and experience that allow them to succeed in everything they do.
I look forward to meeting you all in person as we continue building the foundation for Birch Creek Elementary School.
Sincerely,
Quavious WrightPrincipal
