Welcome Message
Welcome to my class. I am Ms. Parker Goodson. I am very excited about being your teacher.I have been teaching for 29 years and absolutely love it. I graduated from West Georgia College with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I continued my education and graduated from Troy with my Masters degree in the arts and graduated from Lincoln Memorial with my Specialist Degree in Administration. I have been teaching for 26 years.This is my 16th year at Stockbridge Elementary School. I have taught pre-k, Kindergarten and First grade. I am very passionate about teaching. I can't wait to meet you in person. We will learn a lot and work hard while having some fun. I believe that all students can learn.
I am from Avondale Estates, Ga where I have lived for the past 2 years. I live with my husband of four years and my two grown children. My daughter, Maggie just graduated with her Masters from Mercer University and got married in December. My son, Thomas, is working until he starts college again. I also have two adorable fur babies(cats).
In my spare time, I enjoy trips to the beach and reading mystery novels. My new hobby is hiking in different state parks and working out.
