Mr. Reynolds’ 2023-2024 Routines

• How do I enter the classroom?

I enter the classroom by saying “Good Morning Mr. Reynolds and Good Morning Class.”

• What do I do once I enter the classroom?

Once I enter the room, I go to my seat and unpack my things for the day.  I will gather all necessary materials needed to do my work, and I will make sure that I have two sharpened pencils.

• When do I go to the bathroom?

I may go to the bathroom in the morning after I have unpacked my things for the day.  If I need to go to the bathroom before the designated bathroom breaks, I must raise my hand and ask permission.

• What work will I do in the mornings?

My daily Morning Work/D.I.V.E. Work will be placed on the board in the front of the room.

• When do I begin my Morning Work?

I will begin my Morning Work after I have unpacked my things and have prepared myself for the day.

• What do I do if I don’t understand what is being taught or I need help?

I will raise my hand and tell the teacher if I don’t understand or need help with something.

• What do I do if someone is bothering me or causing me to feel uncomfortable?

I can tell the teacher that I need to speak with her and then I can explain who is bothering me.

• What do I need to do to be a successful student in Mr. Reynolds’ Class?

I can be successful in Mr. Reynolds’s class by paying attention, focusing, asking for help, completing work, turning my work in on time, and trying my best each day!
