Ms. Nicole Weingart

Hello everyone!

I'm so excited to be part of the Locust Grove Elementary family and have the pleasure of teaching your wonderful children this year. Before we begin our journey together, I'd love to share a little bit about myself.

I'm originally from the sunny Tampa Bay area of Florida, where I spent my childhood exploring the beautiful beaches and enjoying the warm weather. In 2005, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and that's when my passion for teaching truly ignited.

For 15 incredible years, I had the joy of being a classroom teacher in Hillsborough County Schools, where I taught a variety of grades from 3rd all the way up to 7th. The experience of working with such diverse age groups allowed me to grow both as an educator and as a person. During that time, I also took on the role of a science instructional coach, supporting and inspiring fellow teachers in their classrooms.

I believe in lifelong learning, which led me to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the esteemed University of South Florida. This educational journey allowed me to explore new ways of leading and advocating for positive change in the educational system.

In 2020, I had a wonderful opportunity to embark on a new chapter in Gainesville, FL. I pursued my Ph.D. at the University of Florida while also teaching aspiring future teachers in the Elementary Education program. It was truly rewarding to guide and mentor these passionate individuals, who are now poised to make a difference in the lives of their own students.

And now, here I am in Locust Grove, GA! I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of this amazing community and to join the fantastic team at Locust Grove Elementary. The kind welcome I've received from the administration, faculty, and staff has been heartwarming, and I'm eager to work collaboratively to create a nurturing and empowering learning environment for our students.

As we embark on this new academic year, know that my dedication to fostering a love for learning and nurturing each child's unique talents and strengths remains unwavering. I am here to support both students and parents throughout this journey, and I truly believe that together, we can make this year an unforgettable and transformative experience.
