Shevaun Lowton

Hi! My name is Mrs. Lowton and I am so excited to be a part of SES kindergarten team. I look forward to working with you as it will be a year full of learning and adventures.  I can’t wait to see what the school year has in store for us. 

About me

I am from the beautiful and lush island of Jamaica.  I am married to a wonderful husband, Jason. We have two children; a daughter (Soleil) who is in the first grade and a son (Nasir) who is 3 years old.   They take up most of my free time, but I enjoy reading and going to the beach.

This will be my second-year teaching kindergarten. Before that, I taught pre- k at a private school. I have also taught first grade, second grade and fourth grade. I love teaching kindergarten as it’s my mission to build a strong foundation for my students so that they can be lifelong learners.

Favorite food: deep fried lobster, curried shrimp, steamed fish, pork, curried goat

 Favorite things to do: spending time with my family, friends, watching TV, going to the beach, laughing

Favorite movie: Matilda
