Ms. Chante Martin

Hi everyone! My name is Chante Martin and I will be teaching fifth grade (all subjects) at East Lake Elementary School. I recently moved from New Jersey where I taught Kindergarten for two years, followed by teaching fifth grade for three years. My passion for teaching grew when I was an elementary school student. I had a teacher who really made an impact on my life by showing that she cared about my success and growth as an individual and as a student. From that day forward, it was my goal to become a teacher and make an impact on students' lives the same way that teacher did for me.

In my free time, I love to travel, read, and spend time with my family and friends. I have enjoyed my career as a teacher thus far and I look forward to making connections with you all and continuing my teaching journey at East Lake Elementary!
