Welcome to my page! This is my 9th year as a teacher, the first eight at Ola High, and I'm excited about joining Hampton High School this year. In April, I married my wonderful wife Renée. Our furry family members include two dogs, Archie and Daisy, and three cats, Mickey, Madi, and Oscar.
Throughout my teaching career, I've had the privilege of instructing various social studies courses, such as AP US History, US History, World History, Psychology, Sociology, and Geography. I hold an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia, a Master of Education from Georgia Southern University, and a Bachelor's degree from Gordon State College. I graduated from Mary Persons High School.
In addition to teaching, I have also dedicated seven years to coaching girls basketball, with the last three years as the head coach at Ola High. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time at arcades, zoos, and aquariums, as well as bowling. Sports are a big part of my life, and I proudly support the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.
I'm thrilled to be a part of the Hampton High School community and look forward to an amazing year of learning and growth with my students.
