Teacher Information
I began at Pate's Creek Elementary in 2000 as a paraprofessional then in 2006 as a teacher.  I started at New Hope Elementary in 2020.  I received an Associates Degree in Business from Dekalb Community College. I received my Early Childhood Education Teaching Degree from Mercer University (2006).  I received my Master's Degree from Walden University in Elementary Reading and Literacy.  I returned to Mercer to get my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership with a Math Endorsement.  I have four children - Eric, Brett, Tyler and Kaylin and one grandchild - Asher.
I believe that education is extremely important - and I believe that it should be fun.  The kindergarten staff here at New Hope tries to make this a reality for all of our kindergarten students!
