Ms. Kaytlin Schmidt

Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Ms. Schmidt and I am excited to have you in fifth grade this year! This will be my first year teaching and I am honored to start out as a Woodland Wolf! Originally, I grew up in Southern Illinois near St. Louis where I always knew I would grow up to be a teacher. Then, I pursued my Bachelor's at Murray State University in Kentucky where I met my fiance and learned the art of teaching young minds. In my free time I love to read, cook, and spend time with my fiance and our kitten. My goal for the classroom is to have an inclusive, safe space for students to bounce around ideas and feel that it's okay to make mistakes.
