Mission ​

The mission of the Oakland Elementary Counseling Department is to provide a data-driven, ASCA model aligned, comprehensive counseling program designed to meet the academic, social/emotional and college/career needs of all students. We strive to empower students to become responsible and productive citizens.  As counselors, we serve as student advocates that collaborate with stakeholders to support all students and help prepare them for lifelong learning. Our mission is to advocate for every student to obtain academic and personal success in an ever-changing global society by creating opportunities for every child to excel every day.
