I was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, where Robins Air Force Base is housed.
I graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1985 and attended Middle Georiga College and the University of Georgia.
At MGC, I studied computer science, earning an Associate of Science degree in the spring of 1987.
Following my junior college stint, I matriculated at the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism in the fall of 1989.
My major at UGA was Public Relations.
After working in the grocery industry for 11 years and being a stay-at-home dad for 4 years, I began my teaching career in the fall of 2005.
This is my 17th year of teaching, with this being my 8th year at Ola Middle School.
My wife and daugher, pictured with me to the left, are both pictured at Union Grove High School.
My wife is a 32-year veteran Spanish teacher and my daugher is beginning her junior year in college.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy family time, my 3 cats, running, golf, and reading.
