This is my 10th year teaching and my second year at McDonough High School where I am the Media Specialist. I previously taught at Henry County High School. 

I am proud to work at McDonough High School and feel blessed to be a part of the War Hawk nation. You will often see me after school at various games and events. GO WAR HAWKS!

I received my bachelors degree at Georgia College & State University where I majored in English Literature and minored in Psychology. After graduation, I went back to school at Georgia College and received my masters degree in Secondary Teaching in English. Since then, I have been involved in many classes and seminars through MHS to stay updated on the teaching craft and to be able to give my students the most up to date education. I am a certified Gifted and Advanced Placement teacher.

I am currently enrolled in Valdosta State University for my specialist degree in Instructional Technology with a Media add-on. I have also been able to deliver information through seminars, classes, and presentation on various topics over the past few years.
