    Student Support Facilitator (SSF)
    Dr. Golette-Hamm is our Student Support Facilitator. She works with our school-level leadership to maintain and coordinate instruction, IEP compliance, and behavior support programs for our learners. The following information is some of her additional duties and responsibilities. 
     

    Student Support Facilitator Role

    • Coordinates and supports data collection for the required system, state, and federal reporting, including but not limited to FTE, and Student Record.
    • Assists with FTE and Student Record error resolution.
    • Participates in Eligibility, Initial Placement, IEP Transfer Acceptance, IEP Annual Review, IEP Amendment meetings as appropriate. At times, may serve as the LEA.
    • Supports school staff in re-evaluation requirements and determinations related to federal, state, and local rules and regulations, by reviewing and processing reevaluation referral packets.
    • Supports ESE staff in maintaining compliance at the school level with federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
    • Assist administration and staff with master schedule development.
    • Assigns, coordinates, and oversees caseload management (paperwork and task completion, preparation for IEP meetings, and parent contacts, etc.).
    • Works collaboratively with the ESE staff to schedule initial and reevaluation meetings with the school psychologist; ensures the attendance of the appropriate team members and assignment of duties for the meetings, and serves as the LEA when needed
    • Analyze student data, conduct informal observations and provide feedback to teachers, support staff and administrators.
    • Assists special education teachers and IEP teams by analyzing student data, determining data collection processes, and providing support for progress monitoring.
    • Prepare and facilitate professional development to assist teachers and staff with instructional and data assessment support.
