With over two decades of dedicated service in education, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my new role as Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. My career, marked by diverse teaching assignments and leadership roles, demonstrates an unwavering commitment to student success and educational excellence. I began my journey as a classroom teacher, teaching in a wide variety of environments, including international settings and multiple states across the U.S. This broad experience has fostered a unique perspective on educational practices and student needs.

Seven years ago, I joined Henry County Schools, initially teaching at Henry County High School and later transitioning to McDonough High School. In addition to classroom teaching, I served as an Instructional Coach, working closely with educators to enhance instructional strategies, improve classroom management, and foster professional development. This role allowed me to impact the broader educational community, supporting teachers in their efforts to provide high-quality education.

As an educator, resident, and parent in Henry County, I am proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at McDonough High School. I look forward to continuing to champion student achievement, uphold high standards of academic excellence, and foster a positive school culture.
