• What can parents expect? 

    Parents can expect a school counseling program that works diligently to improve learning and behavioral outcomes. 

     

    This school counseling program will be based on student needs. It will be data centered, focusing on academic, social-emotional and college/career readiness.

     

    Parents can expect a school counseling program that utilizes the ASCA National Model as a framework that creates unity and focuses on improving student achievement. 

     

    The following are a part of the program:

    • Classroom Guidance- Career and Social-Emotional Learning Lessons done by Ms. Augustin.
    • Small Group Counseling- Groups will focus on a variety of topics based on student/teacher needs. You will be contacted via letter if your child has been recommended to participate in a group. 
    • Individual Counseling- Students can be seen at the request of a parent/guardian or at the request of a teacher, staff, or administrator. Through the self-referral process, students complete the "I need to see the counselor referral form on Google Classroom".  
    • Mentor Program- Students are referred to these programs by teachers, parents or administration.
