Greetings!
My name is Ms. Butler, and I am currently an instructor in the Social Studies Department at Stockbridge High School. I primarily teach World History and World Geography. Originally from New York, I relocated to Georgia in 2016 with my three children and have been with Henry County Schools since 2017, serving in various capacities before becoming an educator. My passion for teaching is deeply connected to my love for the social sciences, especially government and world history.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I am a dedicated mother of three and have a male Aussiedoodle. My goal is to foster students' academic, social, and emotional growth by implementing a continuous improvement system in my teaching practice. I believe that student growth is essential for them to thrive and make valuable contributions to the global society.
