Mrs. Harris

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991(Whoop!).  I have a Bachelors in Education Curriculum and Instruction, with a kindergarten and Reading endorsement.  I have taught in Israel, Texas, Arkansas and Georgia.  I have also taught preschool for several years in Alabama.

I have been married for twenty nine years to my husband and we have six children and one grandchild!  My favorite place to be is with my family!

I enjoy traveling, reading (I love, love, love historical non-fiction!), drinking coffee, working in my yard, musicals (Hamilton was so much fun to watch on Disney+!), serving at my church, walking and swimming.

Teaching is my passion!! I love seeing a child's love for exploring, seeing the world in a new way, realizing they can do things they never thought possible---LEARNING---happen before my very eyes!  My classroom is a place where we are going to TRY!  Once a child can conquer their fear of failing and simply try...they will be able to accomplish anything!
