Head Coach Craig Coleman
Coach Coleman brings a wealth of knowledge from many years of coaching football to The Den. In his career, he has coached at the high school level and every level of college level. This is Coach Coleman's 33rd year of coaching.
He enters his 5th year as Head Coach.
Coach James Roberts, Special Teams Coordinator
Coach Roberts enters his 15th season as a football coach at Luella High School. Coach Roberts has been at Luella since 2008 and has coached Defensive Line, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Special Teams during his tenure. This season he will be the Special Teams Coordinator.
Coach Roberts is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with degrees in Specialist in Education (2019), a Masters in Education (2013) and he earned a Bachelors Degree in History from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA, 2001). Coach Roberts is also a Veteran of the US Navy where he served for 14 years as a Hospital Corpsman.
Coach Roberts is married to Luella's Head Volleyball Coach Karie Jarrett-Roberts. They have one son, Andrew, who graduated from Luella and Georgia Southern University. He currently works for Austin FC of Major League Soccer.

Coach Taurean Ferguson, DC
Coach Chris Ward, OC
Before being a student of the game, be an exceptional classroom student." As a former graduate with honors of Henry County (Dutchtown 2009), giving back to this area means everything. Instilling the importance of the classroom with over 4 years of experience coaching and personal development of players, Coach Ward brings his own collegiate playing experience (Southern University, HBCU) as well as his helping hands to the players in any way. Ultimately, it's Coach Ward's desire to see players receive diplomas and then degrees. Something about Coach Ward : Coach Ward believes if you are a student athlete, then you know the classroom ALWAYS COMES FIRST.
Coach Nathaniel Ashmon, Jr, DL
4TH year at Luella High School (Geometry Teacher)
2nd year coaching Defensive Line
Father of 3 and two currently attends Luella High 11th(Nathaniel Ashmon III)and 12th(Zariyah Ashmon) grade. One will be a 2023 graduate of Luella High School; Noah Ashmon will be attending Luella Middle School as a 6th grader. Husband of 21 years to Zelda Ashmon

Assistant Athletic Director, Defensive Line, Boys’ Track,
Head Coach-Baseball and Girls’ Basketball.
· Howard High School-Bibb County 2009-2011; Coached football
Basketball and Boy's Track: PEC Math Teacher.
· Baldwin County High School 2012-2014; Coach Football
Assistant Head Baseball Coach and also a PEC teacher.
Fact About Coach Ashmon--He is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
