LUELLA HIGH SCHOOL JAM CLUB
-
WHO ARE WE?
The Luella High School Jam Club serves as a place for students to come together and play music together. If you or your kids have a passion for playing music and want to be able to share their passion and skills with other students consider the Jam Club. In this club we will spend time learning, transposing, augmenting, composing, and, most importantly, playing songs as a group. We plan on playing music from genres including funk, pop, rock, indie, jazz, and more!
WHEN DO WE MEET
TBD
WHAT IS OUR VISION
We want to be able to improve our musical abilities and be able to share our skills with others. The jam club allows kids with musical passion to come together and play. Our objective will be to build a repertoire, play the songs with each other, and later on, perform for an audience.
WHAT WE DO
In this club students will come together in the band room to learn, practice, and jam to different songs in varying genres. After building a repertoire of fun and good songs, we will spend most of the time mastering these songs by jamming together, hence the name, the Jam Club, focusing on how we can implement our own styles, augmenting the songs to our favor.
