    Mrs. Fisher

    Fisher Family

I was born in Columbus, Ohio but lived most of my adult life in Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Park University with a BA in Elementary Education. I was given the distinct honor of being selected as the Outstanding Graduating Senior for the Education Department. My husband, Ben, and I met in college and got married just 3 weeks after graduation. We have four children, Noah (21), Annabelle (19), Rianne (15), and Annika (8. She is at Rocky Creek too!). We lived in Arkansas for a couple of years while my husband got his Masters. During that time, I was able to homeschool 3 of my children which was a lot of fun! We moved to Georgia at the end of 2017. I am so excited to be back to teaching. This is my sixth year at Rocky Creek and the fact that I get to be a Rocky Creek Racer thrills me to no end!

I am a self-professed nerd that LOVES math. My idea of a relaxing evening is doing puzzles, mind games, or sudoku. If I could get my hands on an Algebra textbook, I would be thrilled! I originally went to college for dance, so you will find my students getting their groove on frequently. I really enjoy being outside (when it isn't 100 degrees!), going canoeing, hiking, or fishing. (Just don't ask me to bait my own hook or take the fish off.) I have traveled to Jamaica, Kenya (twice!), and Romania for mission work. If you get me laughing, watch out! You can hear me from a mile away!
