Mrs. K. Lomax

Born and raised in Denver Colorad-I have been a lover of science and nature my entire life.  I grew up knowing that I was going to be a teacher.  I left Colorado to attend Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL.  Mother Tuskegee- as it is affectionately called, prepared me for my journey in the Science Field.  I received a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science Degree from Tuskegee University.  After spending a few years serving in the field of Public Health, I returned to school to earn a degree in Middle Grades Math and Science Education from Georgia State University in Atlanta Georgia.  I have been teaching for many years now and I am honored to serve my Scholars.

I am married to a fellow Science teacher and we have three wonderful children.  In my spare time i enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and food.  My family and friends are a treasure and I am Blessed to have them.  

Education has been and is my escape, my way of understanding the world around me.  I enjoy learning and teaching-It is my niche.  I am a scientist, I am a life-long learner, I am proud to be a TEACHER!
