Hello Parents and Students,
My name is Natoria Shine and this is my first year here at Dutchtown High School. I'm originally from Jeffersonville, Georgia, a small rural town 20 minutes south of Macon,GA. In December 2009, I received my BS in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Social Studies and Language Arts from Albany State University in Albany, GA. In December 2020, I recieved my Masters of Science in Education from Walden University.
In previous years, I have taught at Northside Middle School in Warner Robins, Ga and Henry County Middle School in McDonough, GA. I joined the Dutchtown cluster at Dutchtown Middle School in 2013 where I taught 8th Grade Social Studies for 7 years. During my time there, I served as the 8th Grade Level Chair and Co-Chair, Social Studies Department Chair, Co-Sponsor of the Dutchtown Diamond Divas Dance and Step Team, and the 2017-2018 Dutchtown Middle Teacher of the Year.
Here at Dutchtown I teach AP World History, US History, and American Government and Current Issues. I also serve as the head coach for Varsity Sideline Football and Basketball Cheerleading and Varsity Gymnastics. I'm very proud of this opportunity to continue my career in education in the Dutchtown cluster where I've come to know this to be my family.
